Assuming this is not an office of a place where lots of the outlets will be used to power items that draw lots of current on a 15 amp circuit wired with 14/2 wire I would limit it to no more than 10 outlets and lights combined. On a 20 amp circuit wired with 12/2 wire I would limit it to a 14 outlets and lights combined. There is no limit in the code. You just use common sense based on what is going to be used on this circuit.

How do you find a triped circuit?

Check the circuit panel / breaker box. The tripped breaker should be partway between 'OFF' and 'ON'. If nothing else, turn the breakers off then on, one at a time and when the tripped breaker is reset, the circuit should be live again. Also check GFI outlets. If one is in fault condition, it will need to be reset. If the tripped GFI outlet is protecting other outlets, they will come back when the tripped GFI is reset. These sockets seem to hide in many cases... Behind microwave ovens for example or refrigerators.

When the power cuts off after switching on an appliance what do I do?

You probably popped the breaker. The appliance is drawing too much current for that circuit (or is combined with too many other appliances on that circuit). Unplug it, turn the breaker back on. Try to find a different circuit to operate it on, or move other appliances to other circuits to reduce the load. If you own your residence you might be able to hire an electrician to completely rewire that circuit with larger capacity wire and breaker and changing the outlets also. This will get expensive though. I cannot use my microwave cooker and my stand mixer at the same time, together they will trip the breaker for the kitchen outlets, but one at a time is OK. It might also be an earth fault in the appliance - As stated turn off other appliances on the same circuit (that should cancel out any over load) and test again . If the breaker drops then the appliance is the issue
