There is no specific time limit for awarding custody. Although the court tries to be as expediant as possible for the benefit of all the concerned parties. The time frame depends on factors such as the willingness of the parents to compromise, other persons being allowed to testify on behalf of a parent, or persons with a legal right to submit evidence or objection to the custody petition, and so on.
No you can not.
No you can Take them to court
As long as the Grandmother is willing and able to take custody of the child.
No they can not. If they take the child across state lines it is kidnapping.
No you do not need written permission if you have full custody of the child
Presumably the father will take full custody of the child and he should notify the court of the death so the child support order can be terminated.Presumably the father will take full custody of the child and he should notify the court of the death so the child support order can be terminated.Presumably the father will take full custody of the child and he should notify the court of the death so the child support order can be terminated.Presumably the father will take full custody of the child and he should notify the court of the death so the child support order can be terminated.
yes
Not take but they can petition for custody in court. Unless the parent is unfit the most they will get is probably shared custody though.
If the mother has the full custody then she can take the child, and she can get the child support. If she doesn't have the full custody, then she is not allowed to take the child without the father consent, but she still can get the child support.
Not unless you are a unfit parent.
Not necessarily. It depends on many factors which the judge will take into consideration before making a custody order.
If, and only if, she has legal MAIN custody of the child, then yes.
