Answering this question might be possible if we knew something ... anything ... about the relationships among RS, ST, SL, and KT. Since we don't, it's not. On the remote chance that there might have been some kind of drawing printed next to this question wherever it was copied from, it's worth mentioning that if the drawing were not needed in order to answer the question, then it would not have been printed there, because every graphic in a book increases the cost of publishing the book. If there's a drawing there, then you need it in order to answer the question, and if you plan on trying to hit somebody else up for the answer, then he's going to need the drawing too.

I think a electric lawnmower would be cheaper because current usage goes off the amount of amps and if you have a lawnmower that has a low voltage then it would cost you less.
THE COST OF THE POWER IS THE SAME FROM THE UTILITIES PERSPECTIVE. IF YOU ARE REFFERING TO EQUIPMENT, THE 240 EQUIPMENT IS SLIGHTLY LESS COSTLY TO OPERATE, IF YOU LOOK AT THE MOTOR NAME PLATE RATING LABEL OF A MULTI-VOLTAGE MOTOR, YOU WILL FIND THAT THE CURRENT (AMPS) WILL BE ABOUT 1/2 AT 240 VOLTS THE MOTOR AMPS OF THE SAME UNIT AT 120 VOLTS. LC
Amps are only a measure of electric current and not energy. The energy is equal to the power times the time, and the power is equal to the volts times the amps. So to find out the cost, you need the voltage, the current and the time.As an example 240 volts at 10 amps is 2.4 kW, and when run for one hour that uses 2.4 kWh (or Units) of energy.
The cost is about the same using the equation Power= Voltage X Current . However , if the 115 volt electrical circuit is produced from a 230v supply though a transformer , then the transfomer incurs loses and therefore the cost is greater .
