Nothing--in space
If the whole container is rectangular, then its volume is 18" x 24" x 30" = 12,960 cubic inches = 7.5 cubic feet = 56.104 gallons
I'm not sure what you mean, but weighing by difference is when you:Take the weight of an empty container, fill the container with a substance.Take the weight of the container holding the substance.Subtract the empty container's mass from the mass of the container and the substance. You will then get the mass of the substance. The result is what is called the "Tare" weight. That is the weight of the contents ONLY .And that would not be the mass of the substance,,,it would be the weight. Mass is a determination of how much space is taken up by the substance.
The volume of the container is 1,152 cubic inches, 2/3 cubic foot, 4.987 gallons,or 638.34 fluid ounces. I have no way of knowing whether it's empty, or how muchof something there is in it.

They measure different things. A foot is a linear measure, it measures distance or the length of something. A cubic foot (or any cubic measurement) measures the volume or capacity of a container. How much the 'stuff' the container can hold.

Slaves on the Middle Passage were typically allocated between 4 to 6 feet of space in the ship's hold, with very cramped and unsanitary conditions. They were heavily crowded together, laying in rows on hard surfaces, with limited access to ventilation and light. This inhumane treatment contributed to high mortality rates during the transatlantic voyage.
