Quite close, unusually for a big city the airport's right in the middle. It's a ten minute train ride to the city. You can get a cab and if it's in light traffic it won't cost that much.
Cab cost can be different. It all depends on how far you are wanting to travel.

Are you talking about the mounts that secure the cab? and by "how does it ride", I would assume you mean the quality of the ride. I would think it would be pretty bad at times.
It's about a 20 minute cab ride, if there's no traffic. If traffic is really bad, it could take up to 40 minutes or so.
