You can become engaged at any age, but legally in most states the age of consensual marriage is 18. Though I don't reccomend getting engaged if you're very young. Nobody will take you seriously.
Doesn't matter. No law limits the age of engagement. Actual marriage is limited and in North America you must be 18 or have parental permission to get married.
Im stating my opinion, so I say, about 18-20 and maybe get married a few years later.
There is no age limit that you must have in order to propose. You cannot be younger than 18 to get married though.
At any age. However, you can't get married until 18, or 16 with parental consent.
i think its 16.
20
17
I dont believe there is a legal age to become engaged only married, which is 16 with parental consent and 18 without.
you can get engaged at 17 anywhere, you just can't get married until you are of legal age, most places 18
Yes it is illegal as both of you are minors.
what is the legal age at which you may attempt to contact someone over the internet
There is nothing illegal about getting engaged at any age. There are specific laws about sexual activity and the age of consent is 17 in Texas.
There is not one
if your eighteen its not illegal but if your older then 18 it is illegal because 17 is not the legal age of consent.
its probably the age of majority.
age: 3867
Yes it is absolutely legal in there. You should be of legal age but. That is perfectly legal there.
In most States you can not get married at the age of 14. You can get engaged, but it will be one long engagement right up to the age of 18. A 14 year old is far too young to be engaged because they are not wise enough to know what an engagement requires or the complexities of marriage.
Only if you are of legal age. Just because you are married, it does not mean to do not need to follow the law.
