to change a fraction to a decimal you have to have a multiple of 10 like 10, 100, 1000, and so on. you can also have ones like 2, 5, 20, 50, and so on. so lets say we have 4/10 to change it to a decimal, you have to look at the bottom number in this case it is 10 and already a multiple of 10. when you have a decimal, it goes directly to tenths there aren't any types of ones. so a decimal of this problem would be 0.4 same with hundredths except it is one more spot to the right. but if you have a fraction like this, 6/100 you have to put a zero in front of the 6 to put it in the hundredths spot. now lets say i have 3/5 and i want to change it to a decimal. it is the same thing but this time i have to change the 5 to a 10 and to do that you have to multiply top and bottom by 2 so that would be 6/10 which as a decimal would be 0.6
hope that answers your question
Okay first its easier if you start from ?/10,
so 1/10 is 0.1
then if you have ?/100
0.1 is 10/100
the 0.15 would be 15/100
Simple as that!
hello my name is ximena
Yes providing you change the fractions into decimals or change the decimals into fractions
All numbers can be changed from fractions to decimals.
change them to decimals
You change fractions into decimals by dividing their denominators into their numerators as for example 3/4 = 0.75
To change fractions into decimals divide the numerator by the denominator as for example 3/4 = 0.75
Divide the denominator into the numerator.
No but for fractions
0.1250 as a fraction is 1/8
Decimals and fractions are PART of a whole
I Think Decimals Are Better Than Fractions
You convert the real part and the imaginary parts separately.
Change them into fractions over 10 or 100 and then order them
