The arch was built in giant triangular pieces. As the pieces became higher the legs started to form. At the very top, they VERY carefully slipped in the last piece and that completed the arch. Well then they had to add the elevators and museums down below, but before they added the elevators they had steps going up and it took 45 minutes to get to the top.
It was built like any other tall building with latter's that could go out further because it was on a thing to make it do that.It took time lots and lots of time. my mom's friend knows who built it,it was her dad's friend who's name i can't think of.
