the histogram has spaces in between each bar whereas the bar graph doesn't have spaces
all that matters in this problem, is that 2 of the 13 spaces are orange. On the first spin, the odds are 11:2 against Jake getting the orange space. On the second spin, the result of the first spin has no relevance or influence at all, so the odds are still 11:2 against. Why is this question flagging up in "breakups"?
252/1024 or 0.246. One method of calculating it is this: The total number of outcomes possible by tossing a coin 10 times is 2 to the 10th, which is 1024. In addition, getting 5 heads in 10 tosses is like arranging 5 identical objects in 10 spaces (the remaining 5 spaces are by default Tails), which can be done in 10C5 ways, which is 252. So the probability of getting 5 heads is 252/1024.

I would have to say 10,000 possible combinations. (0000, 0001, 0002 through 9998, 9999)

Yes. Names can contain letters, digits, and spaces, as well as most of the punctuation symbols.
letters, digits, special characters and white spaces
1.Letters 2.Digits 3.Special characters 4.White spaces
There are nine numbers which contain only one digit. There are 90 numbers which contain two digits. There are 900 numbers which contain three digits. There is one number which contains four digits. Therefore, the number of digits is equal to (9x1)+(90x2)+(900x3)+4 = 2893 digits. If this includes spaces, there would be 999 spaces, therefore there would be 3892 keystrokes.

look for all the possible empty spaces
The general formula is to square the number of digits it could be (in this case 5) by how many spaces there are. So in this case it would be 53 = 125 possible combinations.

In some condos this is possible, and most do have spaces. However some do not. Its best to ask to see what an agreement entails.
It moves three digits to the left.
