∙ 15y agoThe value of a circle could mean many things. Assuming the question is asking for the diameter of a sixteen-foot-diameter circle in inches, the diameter of the circle would be 192 inches. ---- One foot equals twelve inches [ 1 ft. = 12 in. ] Sixteen times twelve equals one-hundred ninety-two [ 16 * 12 = 192 ] Sixteen feet equals one-hundred ninety-two inches [ 16 ft. = 192 in. ]

Divide the circumference by the value of Pi - and you'll have your answer !
The ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter is a constant but irrational (meaning its precise value cannot be fully written out using traditional numbers) number called Pi (π). Pi ~= 3.1415927 Circumference = Pi (3.1415927...) * Diameter (120 inches) ~= 376.991118 inches ~= 377 inches
Circumference of a circle is pi times diameter therefore C = pi(3.14159265359) * 6 = 18.84955592154 say 18.85 inches (3.14159265359 is the approximate value of pi)
The circumference of a circle divided by its diameter is equal to the value of pi.
Multiply the diameter by the value of Pi - and you'll have your answer !
the circumference of a circle, C, is the value pi (3.14159) times its diameter, D, or C= pi x D
Divide the circumference by the value of Pi - and you'll have your answer !
If the diameter of a circle is 12 inches the circumference is: 37.7 inches (diameter x Pi = circumference).Circumference of a circle is pi x diameter, pi has a value of 3.1415, can you proceed from here, you can do it, try it, Good luck!

The circumference of a circle divided by its diameter is equal to the value of pi.
The area of a circle is its diameter times the value of PI. In most cases you can safely use the 3.14159 for the value of PI
The circumference of a circle divided by its diameter is equal to the value of pi
The circumference of any circle is: diameter times pi The circumference of any circle divided by its diameter is the value of pi
The value of pi in a circle is: circumference/diameter
