All vertex angles (also called "interior angles") of a regular polygon have equal measures. If this regular polygon has n sides, then the sum of all the interior angles is 162° times n. The sum of the measures of all the interior angles of any polygon with n sides is (n-2) times 180°. So we have this equation
162n=(n-2)(180)
which has solution n=20. So the polygon has 20 sides.

We know that the sum of a polygon's exterior angles, one at each vertex, equals 360 degrees. So at each angle extended from each side there is an angle of 30 degrees. If x= number of sides, then 30x = 360. Divide by 30 and x = 12.
The total interior angle of a 12 sided polygon is = (12 - 2) 180 degrees = 1800 degrees. The internal angle at each vertex of an regular dodecagon is equal to = = 150 degrees. While the exterior angle at a single vertex is = = 30 degrees. The total exterior angle of a 12 sided polygon is 360 degrees.
A vertex is the point where two (or more) lines meet. Polygons have vertices.
The exterior angles of a polygon always total 360 degrees. That doesn't even depend on how many sides the polygon has.
If each interior angle is 175 degrees then the polygon will have 72 sides
If an interior angle is 55 deg, the corresponding exterior angle is 125 deg. This has nothing to do with the number of sides of the polygon (unless it is a regular polygon).
A regular pyramid has a regular polygon base and a vertex over the center of the base. By:Cherrylvr :)
A regular 16 sided polygon is a hexadecagon. Each vertex has an interior angle of 180 - 360/16, or 157.5 degrees.
