This is not always true. If the sum of two numbers is even, then those two numbers are either both even or both odd. For example:

2 + 2 = 4 (even + even = even)

5 + 7 = 12 (odd + odd = even)

3 + 2 = 5 (odd + even = odd)

Is the product of all prime numbers odd?

No. Since 2 is a prime and any number multiplied by an even is even, the product of all primes must be even.

Why is the product of two even numbers even?

An even number is any number that has '2' as a factor. When you multiply two numbers, you multiply all the factors of both of them.If '2' was a factor of either number, or of both, then it's a factor of their product, and the product must therefore be an even number.

If the product of two numbers are even then the two numbers must both be even?

No. If you have an odd number (for example 5) and an even number (say 2) and you multiply them together, you will get an even number (10). Therefore, just because the product of two numbers are even does not make both the numbers being multiplied together even (although at least one must be).

Is the product of 2 prime numbers always even?

No, the product of 2 prime numbers is not always even. If one of the prime numbers is 2, then the product will be even. However, if both prime numbers are odd, then the product will be odd.

Can you tell if the product of several numbers will be even or odd?

Yes it is possible to determine if a product will be even or odd. To do this, we need to consider what an even number is. Even numbers are numbers with at least one factor of 2 (meaning they are divisible by 2). Thus, any product of numbers which contains at least one even number will result in an even product. If all of the numbers being multiplied together are odd, the product will be odd. If one or more of the numbers is even, the product will be even.

What are the two prime numbers whose product is an even number less than 80 but more than 70?

2 x 37 = 74 As the product is an even number one of the prime numbers must be 2. Then just check all the even numbers between 70 and 80 that is double a prime number: 74 = 2 x 37.
