you can start Cheerleading at any age. i started when i was 5 but now i am 13 and new girls join every year and do fine.
a lot of little girls also start tumbling at the age of 3! as soon as your old enough to walk is really a good time. the sooner you start, the better off you

∙ 14y agowell it depends if your cheering for a school team or an all-star team . school teams go don't really do it by age but all-star cheerleading does they do it by age and skill and i say all this to say at least 3 years and up

∙ 11y agoWell, it's a simple but tough question. You can start whenever... I started when I was 10, but I'm almost 12 and I just learned some skills.... But my friend started Competitive Cheer when she was 3!! So, after all my rambling, what I'm basically saying is you can start cheer whenever you feel comfortable.... When I first joined I didn't have any skills... I hope this helps!!(:
