Measuring IQ at 10 is not necessarily and indicator of future IQ, but the change will not be that great.
With an IQ of 129 you are as good at thinking as the average college / university graduate holding a first degree. Well above average (IQ 100) but not brilliant or gifted.

Therefore, at any time of life, anything greater than 100 is good.
"Genius" level is somewhere north of 140+, so 136 in a seven-year-old is very good.

∙ 14y agoFirst, IQ tests are designed so that your score takes your age into account. This means that (ideally) a person exactly as smart as you, but older or younger than you should get the exact same score. (So if a person exactly as smart as you, but 30 years old took an IQ test, they should also get 137).
Now for the main part of your question. A score of 137 is more than two standard deviations above the norm (average). This means you scored higher than approximately 98% of people. So, for every hundred people you meet, on average, you are smarter than 98 of them and one is smarter than you.
You should be careful though if you took the test off a website or some other place online it is most likely not accurate. The only way to get a real IQ test that is reliable and valid (meaning, it measures your intelligence accurately) is to get professionally tested through a mental health professional using a carefully researched and designed measure. For someone your age the most likely test they would use is the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-R) which is used to test intelligence in children aged 6 to 16.

So a score of 136 indicates that your IQ is in the top 0.6819 percent of the population.

120 - 140 - Very superior intelligence
110 - 119 - Superior intelligence
90 - 109 - Normal or average intelligence
80 - 89 - Dullness
70 - 79 - Borderline deficiency
Under 70 - Definite feeble-mindedness

∙ 13y agoIQ tests take your age into account so IQ usually does not change as you age. An IQ of 100 is average so an IQ of 117 is considered "bright normal". However remember that IQ tests only measure one area of intelligence: Problem Solving/Logical Reasoning. There are eight areas of intelligence so if you have an average IQ, you can still be considered highly intelligent. Also, IQ tests can be inaccurate. Albert Einstein had an IQ of 160. If you really think about it, it's not that high.
