Best Answer

25 is a composite because it is also divisible by 5. As soon as you see that '5' on the end, you know it's a multiple of 5, regardless of what came before the '5'.

Since it has at least one more factor in addition to '1' and itself, it's not a Prime number.
It is composite.

It is neither because it must be a whole number. A prime number has only 2 factors which are 1 and itself. Composite numbers are everything else except 1 and 0. 1 and 0 are neither prime, nor composite.

25 is divisible by 5,25,1. A prime number is the one which is divisible only by 1 & its own. So 25 is not prime and it is composite.
