Best Answer

No. Since the sum of its digits is divisible by 3, (5 + 6 + 1 = 12), the whole thing is

divisible by 3. (neat little trick) Since it has at least one factor besides '1' and itself,

it's not a Prime number.

No, 561 is not a prime number. It can be factored as 3 x 11 x 17, so it is divisible by factors other than 1 and itself.
