No. Since 50 is greater than 5, 50 meters is greater than 5 meters.

But the unit meters is a metric unit and that makes it total confusing to measure.

In theory 50 meters is greater than 5, but in reality when you try to measure it using a meter stick, you will find that actually 5 meters is greater than 50 meters.
