No. A rectangle has four equal angles, but the sides are not all equal.
Methocel (HPMC) is soluble in cold water, forming a viscous colloidal solution; practically insoluble in chloroform, ethanol, and ether, but soluble in mixtures of difernt organic solvents.
METHOCEL is a well known trademark of The Dow Chemical Company manufacturing cellulose ethers for various industries. Methocel is a trademark for methycellulose whereas HPMC E5 is Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose with very low viscosity of 5 CPS (centipoise) used as rheology modifier as well as water retaining agent for film formation, synthetics adhesives as well as tablet coating. It has excellent water retaining properties. Samsung fine Chemicals, SE Tylose are one of the competitors of The Dow Chemical Company in the global market along with many Chinese companies.
Methocel = Methylcellulose it is gum extracted from cellulose fiber. Methocel is also used as rheological modifier for pians and ink. Methocel helps prevent paint sagging problem improving over all quality of paint.
THE DIFFERENCE IS THAT OF VISCOSITY .... HPMC K15M (15 cps) HPMC K100M (100000 cps )
viscosity of hpmc k4m was 4000cps.
cps stands for centipoise. They have different viscosities.
k4m (4000 cps )and k15m (15cps) differs in viscosity they are two grades of hpmc polymer by Ajit ajit5_incredible@yahoo.com
The term HPMC can be HydroxyPropyl MethylCellulose is a science term. It is is the category of chemistry. It is a a synthentic compound that is used in eye and oral medications.
Potters use CMC in glazes. It is methocellulose and you can find it much cheaper at clay suppliers than through the brand "Methocel".

If you mean HPMC: Hydoroxypropylmethylcellulose then you need to: 1-heat 100ml of DW (deionized water) to 80-90c 2-weight HPMC grams you need to dissolve(1-5%) 3-added HPMC gradually to about 1/4 of water(25ml) while strong mixing is needed 4-then prepare 3/4 of left water with ice in it 5-then added ice water to solution while mixing and you will end in clear solution of HPMC
