1 milli liter is .001 liters. 1 milli liter is 1 cubic centimeter. 1 milli liter of water weighs exactly 1 gram.
(largest) kilo(-meter,-liter,-gram)hecto(-meter,-liter,-gram)deka(-meter,-liter,-gram)unit= (meter,liter,gram)deci(-meter,-liter,-gram)centi(-meter,-liter,-gram)(smallest) milli(-meter,-liter,-gram)
1200mg, as this is the same as 1.2g
I would use a gram on a scale because meter is distance, liter is volume, milli is very small, and kilo is very large.
Multiply by the molecular weight. You have to make sure this is in grams per mole (or milligrams/millimole, same thing)
these are called metric measures
There are 0.001 milligrams in a microgram.
1 milligram per litre is 0.001 grams per litre. 1 gram per litre is 1000 milligrams per litre.
A milligram is 1000 times smaller than a gram
