Two angles are complementary when they add up to exactly 90 degrees. An obtuse angle is by definition greater than 90 degrees. Therefore, an obtuse angle cannot have a complementary angle. So an obtuse angle and an acute angle are never complementary.

Why obtuse angle and acute angle can not be complementary?

An obtuse angle has no complementary angle.

Can one of two complementary angles be obtuse?

No, one of two complementary angles cannot be obtuse, because only two acute angles that add up to 90 degrees are complementary and that an obtuse angle on its own is greater than 90 degrees.

Does a pair of supplementary angles always sometimes or never include an obtuse angle and an acute angle?

Sometimes. Actually, it is nearly always, but not quite.

Can a triangle be obtuse and acute?

No, because if there is on obtuse angle the triangle will always be obtuse.

How many acute angles does a trapezoid have?

A trapezoid always has two acute angles. the base angles have to be acute because the lower base angles and the upper base angles are complementary so since the upper base angle is always obtuse, the lower base angles have to be acute.

What is the measurement of an acute angle if the obtuse angle is 145 degrees?

Complementary angles total 180 degrees. So if the obtuse angle is 145 degrees, the acute angle is 35 degrees.

Can a triangle be both acute and obtuse?

No, because if there is on obtuse angle the triangle will always be obtuse.

Is two acute angles are always complementary?

No

Are one obtuse angle and one acute angle always supplementary?

sometimes,, you can have an odtuse angle 85 degrees and acute 23 degrees which is a total 108 degrees.

Does an obtuse triangle always has 2 angels that are acute?

Are triangles always regular?
