Best Answer

A number that is divisible by 2 is not always evenly divisible by 6. It must also be divisible by 3, and must not be smaller than 6.

The numbers 2, 4, 8, 10, 14, 16, 20, 22, 26, and 28 etc. are all divisible by 2 but not (evenly) by 6.

The opposite is true, though. Any number divisible by 6 is also divisible by 2.

Yes, any number that is divisible by 4 is also divisible by 2.

There can't be any such number.' 4 ' itself is divisible by 2, so any number divisible by 4 must also be divisible by 2.

Yes.

Since 3 is a factor of 6, any number divisible by 6 is also divisible by 3. But since 2 is also a factor of 6, then any number divisible by 6 must also be divisible by 2. This means that any number divisible by 6 is an even number. So if a number is odd and it is divisible by 3, then it is not divisible by 6. For example, 12 is divisible by 3, but since it is even, it is also divisible by 6. But 15 is divisible by 3, and it is odd, so it is not divisible by 6.

Any number that is divisible by 10 is an even number and hence divisible by 2 also. It can also be stated that because 10 is divisible by 2, all numbers divisble by 10 are also divisible by 2.

No, any whole number ending in a digit divisible by 2 is also divisible by 2 and therefore not a prime number.

There is none. Any number that is divisible by 2 and 5, for example, must also be divisible by 10.

Because any number that has 6 as a factor will also have the factors of 6 as factors.

4 is divisible by 2 but not by 6
