How did Spanish soldiers capture Native Americans?

The Spanish didn't defeat any native Americans. The Spanish had defeated the Aztecs by forming a revolution with the Aztec citizens. This was successful because the Aztec government was cruel. In that way they nearly got five hundred thousand Aztec citizens to fight for them. The native Americans that the Spaniards encountered were "beaten" and by the first answer, it says as much. With a superior military force including guns & horses, the Spanish basically overwhelmed the native populations they encountered in the New World.

What was the main purpose for woodrows 14 points?

President Wilson's 14-point declaration had as its main target the achievement of a peace agreement that would form a solid basis for enduring peace. A major issue was in Wilson's view that Germany should not be humiliated or destabilized; Wilson expected - very rightly, as it turned out some 20 years later - that any severe form of 'punishment' would only feed feelings of resentment and revenge in Germany. France and Britain however wanted their revenge. They saddled Germany with gigantic 'repair payments' to be made, took away all its colonies and gave large pieces of Germany's territory away to newly-established nations that then forcibly evicted the German inhabitants. When Germany balked at the peace terms, Britain blocked its harbours, causing widespread famine and death amongst the weak (the elderly, sick and children) in the winter of 1919. Basically, in the eyes of most historians France and Britain thus created the conditions that made the rise of Hitler and the Nazi Party possible. The US wanted no part of France and Britains's peace conditions. It concluded a separate peace agreement with Germany.

How did America benefit from the slave trade?

By trading slave, Britain made huge profits. British people used to buy slaves from tribes in Africa for a very low price and sell them to rich people in their own country or outside for triple or four fold of the actual price. In the absence of slaves, most of the defense activities involved huge number of man-power. Britain saved on this man-power as well as the money spent to keep it by hiring slaves as labour force.Trading of slaves also made daily life easy and comfortable in Britain. Slaves were hired to do almost every household task. It benfitted Britain to rise her standard of living. People were also able to contribute to art because of spare time.Slave trading also helped Britain to emerge as the super power as far as colonisation was concern. Every nation regarded Britain as the symbol of power and subversion. Hence, Britain was able to spread her influence and culture across the globe. This influence was not optional, they forced changes in many countries, one of which were some of the laws of indias loved religion. It gave Britain an opportunity to precide over the international or internal issues of any nation.
