Where in the bible did Jesus talk about the sparrow?

Mt:10:29: Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. Mt:10:31: Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Lk:12:6: Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? Lk:12:7: But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Are there any sparrows mentioned in the Bible?

Yes! Psalm 84:3 Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God. Psalm 102:7 I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top. Matthew 10 29Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. 31Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Luke 12 6Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? 7But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Where can you find the 'Even the sparrow' Bible verse?

6Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? 7But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. This is also mentioned in Matthew 10:29-30

Why are there less hawks than sparrows in an meadow?

Over al area larger than a meadow it would be because of the food triangle. Suppose these are hawks that prey on swallows and nothing else. If there were more hawks than sparrows, each hawk would have less than one sparrow to consume and so would probably die of starvation. This would bring the hawk population down. Eventually, the hawk population would be reduced to a level where the sparrow population could sustain it. Hawks do not prey on only one species, and sparrows have other predators as well so the situation is not quite as simple as that. Furthermore, there are differences in breeding cycles and numbers as well.
