Measure the mass of the beaker including the powdered solid. Then empty the beaker, make sure ALL traces of the powder have been removed and measure the mass of the empty beaker. The difference between the two measure is the measure of the powdered solid.

generally liquids but I suppose powdered solids as well

What kind of data do you put in arrays?

You should use arrays when you have several pieces of related data, of the same type. As an example, let's suppose you have a series of measurements, for example, temperature measured every few minutes. It doesn't make sense (from a programming point of view) to use a different variable for every measurement, so you store the measurements as a group - as an array. You should use arrays when you have several pieces of related data, of the same type. What is the exactness of a measurement?

A measurement that can be repeated by an independent person or team of investigators.A measurement that includes the margin of error and resolution of the measuring equipment.

Explain why is a highly precise measurement doesn't not always mean a highly accurate one?

Accurate means how close the measured value is to the real, actual value. Precise means how reproducible the measurement is. So, if the real value is 1.00, and you measure it to be 0.785, and every time you measure it, it comes out the same (0.785), then the measurement is VERY precise, but not very accurate.

What is si system of merment?

I suppose you mean "system of measurement". SI is a variation of the metric system; it is the current official international system of measurements, used in most countries of the world, and which includes such well-known units as meter and kilogram.

What is meant by a mas measurement expressed in this form4.6g 0.2 g?

I suppose that you think to 4,6±0,2; 0,2 is the uncertainty of the measurement.

Why is measurements considered to be uncertain?

Because to be this exact we would have to measure down to the size of the atom, and this isn't important/cost effective/practical in 99.999999% of the areas that we would use measurements in. Almost every measurement is done by humans, and as we know, humans are far from infallible.

Who is the worlds biggest cheater?

I suppose the most accurate answers is Armando Amato.

Why is a stop watch is always sometimes or never good way to measure the length of a movie?

I suppose if your stop watch doesn't accurately measure time or has limit on the length of time it can measure it might be bad. Otherwise it would be an accurate measurement of the length of a movie.

Is SI the measured by grams?

SI is a system of measurement. A gram is one of the measurements defined by the SI. Having said that, I suppose the SI output, in terms of documentation related to standard units could have been measured in grams (kilograms, more likely). Although, nowadays, even that is likely to have been replaced by [mega]bytes.

What is a precise weight measurement?

Precise measurement of weight refers to repeated measurements taken for the weight of an object, in which all the results are very close to one another. They could all be wrong by the same value. For example, suppose you have a pair of kitchen scales which show 100 grams when there is nothing on them. Suppose you weigh a single bag of flour several times. The results may be 601g, 600g, 601g, 602g, 599g. The results are all within 1 gram of 600 g indicating a high degree of precision. But a totally useless result since the result is not accurate: the true weight is 500 grams, and the zero error has displaced each measurement.Actually, the weights should be given in Newtons (or millinewtons), not grams, which is a unit for measuring mass, but for the sake of simplicity I have indulged myself.

Why do you suppose there is not just one system of measurement?

Because the need for measurement is universal and it developed in different ways in primitive cultures. It is only later, with interregional, and then international trade that there was a need for a single system.
