336 and 48
in order to find the GCF of two numbers follow these rules. multiply half of the numbers by 3 so inthis case it would be 31x3=93 and 36x3=108. then add 100 to both of them which brings them up to 193 and 208. After that subtract the sq root of each number (if there are decimals round to the nearest whole number) which now makes it 193-14=179 and 208-14=194. then multiply those numbers by 2. so right now each number is at 358 & 388. then add 26 to the lower number so right now the numbers are at 384 and 388. then subtract 384 from 388 (388-384). now you end up with four which is the GCF of 62 and 72. this method really does work. it's the easiest way to do it.
384 You just multiply the two numbers...that's squared 16x24=384
384 divided by 4 is 96 so the 4 odd numbers will be two above and two below. Two below: 93 and 95 Two above: 97 and 99. 93+95+97+99=384
384
The common multiples of 16 and 24 are 48, 96, 144, 192, 240, 288, 336, 384, 432, etc. There is an infinite number of common multiples for 24 and 16. A common multiple of any two numbers is any number into which each of two or more numbers can be divided evenly (zero remainder). The least common multiple of 16 and 24 is 48.
Since 48 is a factor of 384, it is automatically the GCF.
The greatest common factor of 160 and 288 is 32.
The GCF is 12.
NO!!!! 384 is an even number, so it is not a prime, because it is divisble by '2' 945 is not prime because it can be divided by '5'.
The greatest common factor (GCF) is often also called the greatest common divisor (GCD) or highest common factor (HCF). Keep in mind that these different terms all refer to the same thing: the largest integer which evenly divides two or more numbers. The greatest common factor of 384 and 512 is 128
The least common factor of any set of integers is 1.
The least common multiple of the numbers 48 and 128 is 384.
Two or more numbers are needed to find their LCM
As a general rule, factors cannot be larger than the number they are compared to. 384 is a multiple of 96. 96 is a factor of 384.
24, 44, 60, 852, 56, 344, 48, 384, 8, 4000
Two numbers are relatively prime if they have no factors in common other than 1. This means their greatest common factor (GCF) is 1. Here are examples of pairs of numbers that are relatively prime: 2, 9 5, 14 13, 998 3, 379 37, 303 691, 701 32, 81 384, 625 Here are examples of pairs of numbers that are not relatively prime: 2, 8 (GCF: 2) 16, 1060 (GCF: 4) 52, 117 (GCF: 13)
93*2*2=384
