A few years back some people in the media were trying to get fans to ask Baseball to reduce the number of games in the season. Well, they didn't directly ask them too but talked about it enough to make it seem as though. ESPN constantly talked about it for some unknown reason saying that the season is to long and needs to be reduced. It never happened and there is no more public discussion about it.

Q: Was there a discussion about whether it was necessary to decrease the number of games?
