Without a sign, I'm not sure what you want to have happen to them. 1/2 = 3/6 3/6 + 5/6 = 8/6 = 4/3 or 1 and 1/3 3/6 - 5/6 = -2/6 = -1/3 1/2 x 5/6 = 5/12 1/2 divided by 5/6 = 1/2 x 6/5 = 6/10 = 3/5
