The advantage of loyalists during the American Revolution was that the British had more money and could afford to feed and pay their solders better. They also had the advantage that they were on the winning side until Washington settled down in his winter quarters in Valley Forge and decided to turn the Revolutionary War into a war of attrition.
Loyalists had many advantages and disadvantages. Their disadvantages were their small population, lack of a navy, and no training. Their advantages were being on their own land, they had better rifles, and help from the French.

3. Religious duty to the King because of passages in The Bible that instruct Christians to be loyal to their kings and leaders
The British had many advantages in the Revolutionary War:
1) They had a greater number of troops
2) They had an organized navy
3) They were used to American soil/had already fought there in French-Indian War
4) They had no European wars going on at the time
