Lines that share a common point are called an intersection, or intersecting lines.
Concurrent lines.
Look for any intersecting lines or if they share any same angles to the sides of the triangle.
Lines sharing a common point intercept at that point.
Adjacent means that it is next to something. So, if you two intersecting lines, the angles that are right next to each other or that share a line are called "adjacent"
adjacent angles
They are said to be perpendicular. Or, if you wanted an example of a pair of such lines, one example is a plus sign.

Adjecent Angles
Vertical angles are angles formed by the intersection of two lines. Verticle angles share a vertex but do not share any rays. If that was too wordy, look at the diagram.............l................................lC..............................l................................l...................._________________B..........l.D...........E.................l................................l................................l.A..................
If they share a ray, then they are basically combined together and since complementary angles add up to 90 degree angles a right angle is formed.
Intersecting lines NEVER have the same slope. However, if the lines are identical, meaning all their points are the same, then they will, of course, have the same slope as well as everything else. On the other hand, parallel lines have the same slope, but they do not share a single point.
