Not being certain what is meant by other forms, the 'abuse excuse' basically refers to any type of abuse an individual may have experienced in his or her life that led to the criminal act for which they have been accused. Documented domestic violence, the sexual molestation explotation of an individual during their childhoood, almost any history of physical, mental, emotional abuse over an extended period of time.
