Mathematical properties explain the way that numbers work. By knowing the properties, they make it easier to work with. An example would be the Commutative property of multiplication, which says that the answer to a multiplication question is the same no matter how the numbers are multiplied together, such as 3x2 or 2x3 both equaling 6.
"-6 and 6" is not a symbol!

This needs a better wording. Properties as in real estate or the basic idea/state of matter in Math and Science. The term 'properties' appears 1x in the NKJV:Ezekiel 45:6[ Properties of the City and the Prince ] "You shall appoint as the property of the city an area five thousand cubits wide and twenty-five thousand long, adjacent to the district of the holy section; it shall belong to the whole house of Israel.
