Assuming fair dice:

With 3 dice there are 6 x 6 = 36 possible permutations (the two dice can be identified and are independent of each other).

Of these there are 3 ways (1+3, 2+2, 3+1) of getting four.

Probability of getting a four with 2 dice on one roll = 4/36 = 1/9

As rolls are independent, the probability of getting 4 with 2 dice 3 times in a row is 1/9 x 1/9 x 1/9 = 1/729

So the odds of it are 728 to 1 against, ie 1 in 729 or about 0.14 %.

One out of six... or however many sides your dice have on it.

What is the probability of rolling 6 and four in backgammon three times in a row?

The answer depends on how many times in total the dice are rolled. As the total number of rolls increases, the probability rolling a 6 and 4 three times in a row increases towards 1.

How do you figure out what the probability of rolling a three and then a four using a standard dice?

If you keep rolling the die, the probability is 1. If you require a 3 and a 4 in the first two rolls, the answer is (1/6)*(1/6) = 1/36

What are the odds of rolling four of a kind with six dice in two rolls?

A single roll of six dice comes up with a four of a kind 1 in every 20.736 times. This chance doesn't change on the second throw, only really granting a total of 2 in 20.736.

What does it mean that the probability of rolling the number four with two fare dice?

Fair dice are dice that are not weighted on one side to make a particular number more probable than the others. The probablity of a four on one dice is 1/6. The probability of a four showing on either or both of two dice is 1/6 + 1/6 = 1/3 (Note this is different from rolling a total score of four with two dice which can be achieved with 1+3, 3+1 or 2+2 which is 3 out of 36 combinations or 3/36)

What are the chances of rolling a four or higher on two dice with one roll?

9 out of 12 chance of that happening

What is the probability that you would land on a three if you threw four dice at the same time?

If using regular dice, the probability is 0 since the minimum sum from four dice is 4.

What is the probability of rolling a four with a dice?

With a single die, one out of six or 16 and 2/3 percent. With a pair of dice, 3 out of 36 or 8 and 1/3 percent.
