More or less the same as a square. 4 right angles (90 degrees) 2 pairs of parallel lines.

If you can guarantee that the opposite sides of your 4-sided figure are parallel,

OR that they're equal, AND that the figure has one right angle inside it, then

you can be sure that it's a rectangle.
