One way of classifying triangles is by the number of equal sides.

An equilateral triangle has all three sides of equal length. All three of its angles are also and since they add up to 180 degrees, each one is 60 degrees. It is sometimes called an equiangular triangle.

An isosceles triangle has two equal sides. The angles that each of these sides forms with the third side are equal.

A scalene triangle has no two sides of equal length and no two angles of equal measure.

Another way of classifying triangles is by the measure of its largest angle. A triangle can have one obtuse angle or one right angle or all angles that are acute. It would be called an obtuse-angled / right-angled / acute-angled traingle.
