The Pascal's Triangle is a pattern where you add the adjacent numbers from the previous line.

1 1 1 1 2 1 The 2 comes from adding 1 and 1 from the above line. 1 3 3 1 The threes come from adding 1 + 2 on the left and 2+1 on the right. 1 4 6 4 1 The 4's come from adding 3+1 on the left and on the right. The 6 comes from adding 3 and 3 in the middle. This pattern continues on and on.

He was a French mathematician and philosopher. He lived June 16, 1623-August 19, 1662.

He created the Pascaline (Pretty much the very first calculator), Pascal's Triangle, Pascal's Theorem, Pascal's wager, and the Roulette Machine. The scientific term Pascal (Pa) was named after him. He was born in Clermont, France but lived and died in Paris. He was Roman Catholic and was home-schooled by his father, Etienne. His mother, Antoinette Begon, died when he was a young child. He had two other sisters but he was the only son. He was influenced by Galileo Galilei and Torricelli.

A French philosopher, mathematician, and physicist, considered one of the great minds in Western intellectual history.
