Epoxy works great if there is no deflection, (higher and lower side). However, i would suggest doing it during a cooler time of year when the concrete is contracted to a point where the joint is at its largest.

Durring summer months there is a product made called SIKAFLEX. This maintains great elasticity through cold and winter months as well as summer, but can be easily dammaged by shovels in the winter where you are removing snow. They have several products, so ask the distributor in your area which one will work best for you.

I used to use both on concrete parking structures to protect from water intrusion to the steel bar.

Hope this helps.
