2Co 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
It is Paul speaking to the Corinthians, who seem to have doubted whether or not Christ was speaking through him - In essence he is saying "Examine me, test me. God will give you the wisdom to know the answer - For He is within you, unless you are reprobates" (Those that have deviated from what is moral, right, proper, or good) The Spirit will grant them the knowledge of the truth, unless they have turned away from God.

The love chapter in the New Testament is found in 1 Corinthians 13. It is often referred to as the "Love Is Patient, Love Is Kind" passage because it describes the characteristics of love.
The verse you are referring to is 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, which states "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
