If it is separate from the mass air flow sensor, it will be a small somewhat round sensor, with one 2-wire connector attached to either the air inlet snorkel, or in the air filter box, but it may be built into the mass air flow sensor, so you may not find it at all.
You can find the 1995 Pontiac Firebird 3.4 liter engine IAT sensor on the back of your engine. The IAT sensor will be a few inches above the transmission.
It is screwed into the side of the upper portion of your intake manifold , on the drivers side of the engine , and has an electrical connection to it . Ford refers to it as an air charge temperature sensor .
The 2007 Hyundai IAT sensor can be found connected to the air intake hose. The sensor will be between the air filter box and the top of the engine.
The IAT sensor is an integral part of the MAF sensor
It will vary depending on the model, but I have a 94 Cutlass Ciera, and it has a 3.2 liter V6 in it
IAT sensors are usually located in the intake elbow. Have a pig tail connector and look like a loop with a probe inside of it once you unthread it. Actually on 2001 and later model V6 Mustangs the IAT is integrated into the MAF. If you look at the MAF on a 2000 and earlier it is a 4 pin. Where as 2001 and later it is a 6 pin. Those two additional wires run to the IAT. On 2000 and earlier the IAT is a small probe that is before the MAF, that is placed directly into the intake tube.
The IAT sensor on a 2000 Mercury Cougar V6 is on the back side of the filter box. On the Zetec model it is either on the Air box like the V6, or on the intake tubing running from the box to the Throttle Body.
its located in the engine compartment on the firewall kinda by th egr valve
Hello bud, I think and lead to believe that IAT sensors are fitted near the air flow box area? on all or most vehicles, and it will be fitted with a jack plug,,but you probally know that? Yours Richard.
93 thru 99 3.0 motors have IAT but later models do not
The IAT sensor on the 1994 Chevy v6 is located in the air duct between the air intake and the throttle body. This location varies greatly depending on the year of the vehicle.
There is no such engine as a 2.0 V6. The V6 in the Granada in 1982 was a 3.8 L. Look at the link below and pick the correct engine.
