A control variable is a test subject where nothing is tested on it and instead is used to compare. Let's say you had 2 Oranges. Orange 1 is left in the sun for 8 hours while orange 2 isn't doing anything. Orange 2 would be the control variable because nothing happened to it and you can use it to compare with orange 2 that has melted in the sun after 8 hours. Understand? If you don't just ask your science teacher and he/she might explain it better.
A controlled variable is a variable in an experiment that is kept the same throughout all the trails.
A manipulated variable the exact opposite. This variable changes throughout each trail of the experiment. There should usually be only one manipulated variable in an experiment.
-----dependent variable
The controlled variable is what stays the same in a science "lab" or experiment. There are no uncontrolled variables though, there are the manipulated and the responding. The manipulated variable is what you change, while the responding is your data. Three altogether.
controlled variable is something that is controlled by the independent variable
controlled variable is something that is controlled by the independent variable
Manipulated Variable, Responding Variable, And Controlled Variable.
A controlled variable is a setting where the dependent variable is not controlled by the independent variable. For example, if you were trying to measure the rate of movement in an organism in highly salty concentrations, a controlled variable would include the organism in an environment with no salt at all.
A Controlled Variable is a variable that will stay the same. An Uncontrolled Variable is a variable that stays at random during testing.
The controlled variable is the one that you chose to change while the dependant is the variable that changes because it is effected by the controlled variable
"Controlled Variable" or "Manipulated Variable"
Dependents Variable - Which Changes (depends on other factors)Example:- Thermometer the Scale Change according to Heat here Mercury level in thermometer is a dependentIndependent - Which will not changes (isn't changed by the other variables)Example :- here same thermometer is a example here the heat is independent variable

manipulated variable
The independent variable.
constant variable
