Simplest Form
That is a fraction in its simplest form.

The greatest common factor, or GCF, is the largest positive integer that will divide evenly with no remainder into all the members of a given set of numbers. If you find the GCF of the numerator and denominator of a fraction and divide them by it, you will find the simplest form of the fraction. If the GCF is 1, the fraction is already in its simplest form.
The greatest common factor, or GCF, is the largest positive integer that will divide evenly with no remainder into all the members of a given set of numbers. If you find the GCF of a numerator and a denominator and divide them both by it, the result will be the simplest form of the fraction. If the GCF is 1, the fraction is already in its simplest form.
The greatest common factor.
It is called simplification [by cancelling common factors].

According to the next question on my brother's worksheet...Simplest Form.
When no whole number will not go into both the numerator and the denominator evenly.
If the numerator divides evenly by the denominator, simply do that. When working with algebra you can multiply both sides by the denominator.
Then the fraction is in its simplest form (lowest terms).
A fraction is considered simplified or reduced when the numerator and denominator have no common factors other than 1. In other words, there is no integer greater than 1 that divides evenly into both the numerator and the denominator. If there are common factors, the fraction can be simplified further by dividing both the numerator and denominator by their greatest common factor.
