What are the lyrics of the Illinois state song?

By thy rivers gently flowing, Illinois, Illinois, O'er thy prairies verdant growing, Illinois, Illinois, Comes an echo on the breeze. Rustling through the leafy trees, and its mellow tones are these, Illinois, Illinois, And its mellow tones are these, Illinois. From a wilderness of prairies, Illinois, Illinois, Straight thy way and never varies, Illinois, Illinois, Till upon the inland sea, Stands thy great commerical tree, turning all the world to thee, Illinois, Illinois, Turning all the world to thee, Illinois. When you heard your country calling, Illinois, Illinois, Where the shot and shell were falling, Illinois, Illinois, When the Southern host withdrew, Pitting Gray against the Blue, There were none more brave than you, Illinois, Illinois, There were none more brave than you, Illinois. Not without thy wondrous story, Illinois, Illinois, Can be writ the nation's glory, Illinois, Illinois, On the record of thy years, Abraham Lincoln's name appears, Grant and Logan, and our tears, Illinois, Illinois, Grant and Logan, and our tears, Illinois.

Why is it that your spouse fools around on you and if or when you get back together the one he fooled around with can only call you down even though you never called her down?

It is called jealousy. She is mad because he came home to you. He probably made her all kinds of promises, then realized it wasn't what he wanted. My question is why do you even know what she is saying about you? Think about that one. Either she is still in touch with your spouse or he's using the other women's so-called words about you (don't always believe she said them either) to be a spoiled inconsiderate brat and treat you with the disrespect he's treating you with. Men love sex so getting it from his wife and mistress is like a kid in a candy store. You are stuck with a malcontent, that has never matured, and you should tell him to hit the road! Don't sit there and take it and wonder about yourself and what other women think of you. Women that are confident in themselves don't need to go after married men. Once in a blue moon a woman may be be honestly conned by a guy saying he's divorced. Until she sees those divorce papers, don't a woman should never believe him! The mistress really gets the worst of it in ways. The wife knows what her husband is, and the silly mistress thinks she can tame this guy or treat him better than what he has been treated like. Little does she know half the time the cheater is giving her one pack of lies and she hasn't had to put up with his behavior. Just wait! She'll get enough of him too! I was married before, and the next thing I knew I had the mistress phoning me wanting to have a chat with me about MY OWN HUSBAND! My husband was sitting in the front room with a big smirk on his face enjoying every bit of the conversation until I said, (not exactly quoted) "You can have him and I'll tie a big fat red bow on his butt for you!" He was shocked and I took the tools away from him as far as pitting his mistress against me. I didn't play the game, moved on, divorced him and met someone new. I've never regretted it. I hope you consider the same route to take. Good luck Marcy

What is the value of 30-30 Winchester saddle ring carbine serial 348668 with a Marbles Tang sight in good condition?

A answer depends greatly upon what good condition means. To me, good condition means in its original configuration and un-touched with respect the the finish of the wood and metal. Normally, the bluing will be at lease partly deteriated, which is an indication of its original condition. If it has been re-blued, or the wood refinished, its value is much less. Also the bore and rifling need to be good, with no pitting or rust. With the said serial number, it would have been made in the early 1900's With this in mind, the rifle may bring $500 to $800 on one of the gun sale websites. JMG

What year was Winchester model 12 16 gauge serial number 239192 made and how much can it be worth?

Your serial number indicates that your Winchester model 12 shotgun was made in the year 1920.The value cannot be determined without a much more detailed description of your shotguns overall condition,to include the amount of original blueing left on the metal, original finish remaining on the wood, and barrel type(plain,or solid matte rib,or vent rib barrel).Barrel condition(any pitting in the bore)etc.

What is the value of model 1897 Winchester shotgun 12 gauge good condition all original but worn color and wood no pitting serial 406xxx?

The collector value can only be assessed by a visual inspection & evaluation. Old Winchesters are very much like old classic automobiles... the graded condition and factory originality are the key factors in determining what they are truly worth.

What is the value of a Winchester Model 1894 30-30 nickel steel 26 inch octagonal barrel 44 inch overall length 30 cf New Haven Conn US patented August 21 1894?

It all depends on the overall condition. If all original and retaining 80% of the original finish and has a good bore with no pitting. The value would be in the $1000-$1500 range. 50% condition would bring it down to the $700-$800 range. Add 20% to the above values if it was made prior to 1898.

Just want to know the value of winchester 94 30 30?

State whether it's a carbine or rifle is a big factor to it's value, but the major determining issue is condition AND configuration. Saying it's in "good" condition is like saying a have a old Chevy pick-up truck in good condition, how much is it Worth? You'll need to describe exactly how much of the original finish remains, on all the wooden & metal parts, any pitting or corrosion, chips or cracks in the wood and report that as a approximate percentage, ie: approximately 50% of original finish remains and the wooden stocks have normal wear & tear bumps & dings but no cracks or chips or missing pieces. If you can email me pics of it with close ups of the rear middle and front on both sides I can provide a very good estimate of value. Can modern smokeless powder ammo be fired in an original 1873 Winchester 44-40 in good mechanical condition?

Great care and caution have to be excercised when shooting old original guns. They were intended to be shot with black powder which isn't as critical in case capacities as it is with smokeless powders. It is quite subjective as to the terms of "condition" as it is referred to in the question. A tight Model 1873, that is in very good shape, with no rust or pitting, that locks up correctly can be safely shot with smokeless powder loads, provided it isn't loaded beyond what the safe pressure that is recommended by the manufacturer.

What is the value Winchester rifle 1876 cal 45-60 serial no 37860?

there are many things that determine the value of this rifle.the first item being that you have a Winchester mod 1876 third model that was made in 1883.second is the overall condition of the firearm.(is the finish worn away or does some still exist?).is the rifle complete and does it function? is the bore dark and pitted or bright with no pitting?is the stock complete, not broken and retain its original finish if any? as a guide this rifle could expect to fetch between 2,250-3,000 in above average finish down to 1,000-1,600 dollars in below average condition.
