If the land is completely surrounded by water, (on all sides) it is called an island. If the land is surrounded by water on only three sides, (left, right, and bottom) it is called a peninsula. One example of a peninsula is florida, and an example of an island is hawaii.
A triangle which has no two sides congruent is called a Scalene Triangle.
A piece of land that has been surrounded by water on all sides is called an island. Many islands next to each other can make up an archipelago.
