One foot is equal to 12 inches, or 30.48 centimetres. Therefore, one tenth of a foot is equal to 1.2 inches or 3.048 centimetres.

If one foot goes out of bounds it is a one tenth deduction and if both feet go out it is a three tenth deduction.
There are 5280 feet in a mile and 12 inches in a foot, so it would be 12 X 5280/10 = 6336 inches in one tenth of a mile.

one tenth
I think I know why nobody has answered this yet. There are no initial units. If it is 337.5 feet, then you are already there. If it is 337.5 yards, then that is 1012.5 feet. If it is 337.5 inches then it is 28.125 feet, which rounds to 28.1 (nearest tenth of foot).
1 foot = 0.3048 metres 1 foot x 1 foot = 1 square foot = 0.3048 metres x 0.3048 metres = 0.0929 square metres. Roughly, slightly less than one-tenth.
