It's not the most efficient way, but if you keep at it long enough, a common multiple will emerge between two numbers. Easy example: 3 and 5

3,6,9,12,15

5,10,15

The LCM is 15.

Factor them.

2 x 3 x 5 = 30

2 x 3 x 7 = 42

Select the highest amount of each factor.

2 x 3 x 5 x 7 = 210, the LCM
