It depends on the rotation of the square. If it is aligned to the X and Y axes, then there are two horizontal lines. If it is not aligned to the X and Y axes, there are no horizontal lines.
It must be. A cylinder is described by the volume swept by a rectangle in rotation about one of its axes. The rotation will create a circle on the opposite ends.
It depends on the pyramid. If it is a square based pyramid, a horizontal plane will give a square cross section, a plane inclined by a rotation parallel to one of the base axes will give a rectangular cross section whereas a plane inclined by rotation along both basal axes will result in a parallelogram cross section. Not sure how you get a parallelogram from a pentagonal or hexagonal (etc) pyramid.
Axes is plural; axis is singular (only one of them).
The x and y axes on the Cartesian plane intersect at the origin at right angles
another name for earth spinning on its axis is rotation.
there also is 4d.

The planets rotate around their rotational axes and revolve around the sun.

Body weight squat, goblet squat, zombie squat, front squat, and back squat
It has been shown that the speed of rotation of the d.q axes can be arbitrary although there are three preferred speeds or reference frames as follows: (a) the stationary reference frame when the d,q axes do not rotate; (b) the synchronously rotating reference frame when the d,q axes rotate at synchronous speed; (c) the rotor reference frame when the d,q axes rotate at rotor speed.
I'm not sure how to explain directions in space since they are all relative to something else. This is about the best I can do. If you mean Pluto's rotation around the Sun it orbits in the same direction as the Earth which is also the same as the Sun's rotation on its axis. If you mean Pluto's rotation on its axis it's opposite the rotation of the Earth and Sun on their axes.
Box Squat is a variation of a squat where you sit on a box and squat back up.

None of the eight planets in the solar system has a retrograde orbit. However, two, Venus and Uranus, have retrograde rotation around their axes. As to whether any exoplanet has a retrograde orbit or not, that is unknown since there is little or no knowledge of their rotation.
