Density means mass per unit volume. Hence, mass of a body divided by it's volume will give us it's density.

Here mass = 4g, volume= 5cm3

So, density = mass/volume

=4g/5cm3

=0.8g/cm3

This is the average density of the wooden block. The density of block whole throughout it's body may not always be equal to this value. Some portions of block can be more dense and some less dense. But the average density of any body having mass= 4g and volume = 5cm3 is always 0.8g/cm3 .

What is the density for mass of 20g and volume of 5cm3?

density = mass/volume = 20/5 = 4 g/cm3

Suppose an object weighs 15 g and has a volume of 5 cm what is the density of the object?

Note 5cm isn't a volume it is a length therefore for the answer we are assuming the volume is 5cm3 Density = mass/volume Density = 15g/5cm3 = 0.015kg/0.000005m3 Density = 3g/cm3 or in SI units 3,000kg/m3

Glycerin has a density of 1.26 grams cm3 What is the volume of a gkycerin sample that has a mass of 6.30 g?

WE know that Density D =mass/volume. Volume V = M/D =6.3/1.26 =5cm3.

Find the density of a rock that has a mass of 25g and a volume of 5cm3?

Density is mass over volume, so divide 25 by 5(25 / 5) = 5 g/cm3 or g/cc

What is the density of a piece of wood that has a mass of 25 grams and a volume of 5cm?

d=m/v d=(25g)/(5cm3 ) d=5g/cm3

What is the density of an object that has a mass of 184g and a volume of 50cm3?

Density= Mass/Volume = .183kg/50cm3= .00366 kg / m^3 the above solution is wrong because you have to get the units right density = mass/volume = kg/m^3 = 1000g/1000000cm^3 density = 0.183/0.00005 = 3660Kg/m^3

What is the calculation of the density if the mass of a solid material is measured 15 grams and its volume is measured 5 centimeters?

Denisty = mass / volume Density = 15g / 5cm3 Density = 3g per cm3 Once you know that the units of Density is g/cm3, you can use this to work out that you need to divide the mass (g) by volume (cm3) as can be seen in the units. This works for any equation you know the units for, like speed: Speed = m/s (meters/seconds) = distance/time

What is the mass of an object whos density is 5 g cm3 and volume of 10 cm?

the density=mass/volume, so the density is 5.23 g/cm cubed

What is the volume of a rectangular solid whose length is 6cmwidth is 4cm and height 3 cm?

72cm3 which is equal to 72mL. For future reference; the formula for volume is width x length x height, (which you would then have __cm3 and 1cm3 is equal to 1mL, so 5cm3 = 5mL)
