Area is how much space is in a object or place can obtain. perimeters is is the distance around an object or place.
Area is the space inside the object. Perimeter is the distance around the outside of the object. Formulas are as follows: A=LW for Area and P=2L +2W for Perimeter
Area is the object in the inside and the perimeter is the distance outside the object. the area would be lenghth times width. the perimeter is 1 lenghth + 1width+ the other length+ the other width
P.S. For all of you that are lazy this is easy!!!

The difference between a perimeter and an area is the area is how much space is inside of a surface or a two dimensional object while the perimeter is the distance around a surface or a two dimensional object.
Area is the space inside the figure. Perimeter is the distance around it. For rectangles:
By multiplying length times width
The area is found.
Perimeter is the sum of sides
The distance all around.
area is the size of a surface, and is a squared dimension ; perimeter is the total length dimesion around the surface. For example if a square is 2 inches on a side its area is2 x 2 = 4 square inches while its perimeter is 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 8 inches
The area is everything inside of a shape. Eg. the area (inside) a square or the area in a room.
The perimeter is the outside edge. Eg. the edge of the square or the walls of a room.
AREA:lenght times width
PERIMETER:lenght times width times lenght times width
90feet and 12feet
Area is a 2-dimensional measure. Perimeter is 1-dimensional and volume is 3-dimensional.
perimeter is the measure around the figure; area is the measure within the figure formula: perimeter: length+length+width+width=perimeter (for square or rectangle) area: length times width= area ( for square or rectangle)
Perimeter is the distance around the outside. Area is the space inside. By multiplying length times width The area is found. Perimeter is the sum of sides The distance all around.
The perimeter is a measurement of the distance around the outline of a shape. The area is the measurement of all the space within the shape, and it is measured as (unit) 2

Perimeter is around the object youre measuring and area is the inside.
perimeter is all the sides added, area is the base times the height, and volume is on a prism u multiply the three different measurements
Picture a rectangle. The area is the space inside the lines. The perimeter is the distance around the lines.
Area is measured in squared units, such as cm^2. One centimetre squared is a box that is 1cmx1cm. Perimeter is measured in normal units, such as centimetres.
In general, there is no relationship between area and perimeter.
The area is the space it covers. The perimeter is the length of its sides.
