drawing is when you make something on your own whereas tracing is just copying someone elses work. unless you are tracing your own creation.
Drawing and painting are two-dimensional, sculpture is three-dimensional.

One remaining drawing conventions is Oblique drawing - In this convention the angles used are 45 degrees and 90 degrees. The only difference between the two named styles is in the scale of the dimension going away from the viewer. tracing paper is extremely thin translucent ordinary paper, you can write on it. wax paper is paper saturated with wax, you can't write on it.
