the standard measurement system is used only in very small areas of the world. The metric system is used everywhere. The only difference is that the mteric system is calculated by hundreds so it is easy to convert. ex: millimetter: .0001 centimeter:. 01 ,decimeter: .1 ,meter: 1, dekameter:10,hecto meter:100, kilometer:1000 I hope you got your answer
