The fastest BPM or most in 60 seconds was accomplished by Mike Mangini when he set the world record April 3, 2005 with 1247 strokes in 60 seconds using the matched grip method. In the traditional grip method he reached 1126 strokes and bare hand he reached 1138. All three are world records.
Anyone you want it to be. It all depends on how it is written and played. Jojo

No, Piano is more on melody. Drums are more beats
Our heart beats like muffled drums
In a standard beat, beats 2 and 4. Kick-Snare-Kick-Snare. But it gets more complicated when moving away from a standard beat.
Of course, I suppose. But, normally they play things like drums beats, or chants of DEFENSE!, etc.
I have no idea. Ask someone who cares, because I don't.
Paul McCartney played drums as Ringo had walked out on the band on the Beatles recording, on Siouxsie and the Banshees the drums where played by Budgie (Peter Edward Clarke).
The beat is the basic unit of time in music. Beats aren't necessarily created by drums as drums are not always present in music. It could be created by the rhythm of a guitar, piano, etc. I will explain to you how a drumbeat is created/played in a waltz tempo as this might make you understand the concept better due to its unique beat. A waltz tempo is counted in threes. 1-2-3-1-2-3-1-2-3-1-2-3. Say for example it is played at 70 bpm (beats per minute), that means the "1" count will fit into a minute's time frame 70 times. So, the bass drum is played on the 1's and the snare drum on the 2's and 3's in the count. Now 1-2-3-1-2-3 will sound something like this played on a drumkit: boom-tak-tak-boom-tak-tak Now, you can also fill the drum sound with strokes on every count and in between every count by playing those extra strokes on the hi-hat cymbals.
Snare Drums can be played by using a Drum stick.
If you mean, How are the drums played, they are played by hitting the head and/or the rim in a rhythum hope i helped -tinkerbella-
By far the funnest ones are the marching bass drums. You can experience an awesome time playing in a drum line and working as team to create cool beats and you get a good workout at the same time. Concert bass drums are cool if you are into that.
